Absolutely...and some dark chocolate with a glass of wine at the end of each day is a must too!

I retired in June. But I am just as busy now as I was when
I worked. Time for yourself is important. It helps to recharge
and makes you feel better. I take yoga and try to get a nap
in when I can. One day a week is better than none, but two
days are better than one. A hot bubble bath at the end of the day really relaxes you.

Yes. this is a good question. Since I work Monday through Friday part time, I sure do need my weekends. I do get some things done after work but on Saturday mornings I go to breakfast with my friends and then go to grand kids soccer games, and yes, there are many of them.

I look forward to down time, but to me down time isn't just doing nothing. I'll sit for a while and then get up and complete some small chore, then sit again and keep that up most of Sunday.

Any time spent here I consider down time. I take little breaks in my work to "play with my friends," it refuels me to face the telephones again, keeps my brain working so it doesn't go into perminent "idle." And yes, there are times when I NEED down time...I think we all do.

I don't get a whole day to refuel, but I often relish the moment.

Yes, yes and yes.
Boy, some days, I'm just going so hard, so fast, that when the day off comes, I just fall down into my chair with a good book.
