I find on the VERY RARE occasions that I can overcome my laziness/fears/assumptions/what have you, and actually take a objective, clear and open-minded stance on what I want to do with my life, and what I want to do with this moment, then I am truly happy. Not just "happy" but fulfilled, content, and peaceful knowing that I, and no one else, in THIS moment, is in control of me except my mind.

And since lving life is about living it well and happily, do you think maybe taking control is the key?

What you believe life to be about is the part of the social problem that we face.

If we believe that being happy is the be all and end all to life, we can now explore why so many are unhappy so much of the time.

Asserting control over one's beliefs and thinking though is a critical part of the process.

Hi yellow just wanted to say,,,,, to me life is not about control there's things you can not control ..... to me life is about balance.. lets say if you fear do things that make you happy ... if you cry alot read good books enjoy a great comic, be around people that make you laugh... dont look at the faults of a person look at the good side you might find something you dont like but there will be something you do like focus on the good things... and life will be of great... pay attention to the elders if you happen to be around one the thinks they have to say its of value to you and your future... like the early bird catches the worm its true with us humans.. look at the ants they work from sun up to sundown ... but in all that you do be happy [ its good ] and if you dont you will live a dull life.... I could keep on and on yellow... GOD BE WITH YOU ... yoli
