These are the Australian university rankings:

If you would like specific information about the university, I suggest exploring their website and/or contacting them directly:

If you are going to university as an international student, take a look at this website:

It also depends on what you want to study. Some universities are stronger in some subjects than others. Sydney is Australia's oldest and most prestigious university and in my field of anthropology and linguistics has only one equal and that is ANU in Canberra. In my other field of meteorology, Macquarie University has the best Earth Sciences school in Sydney while UNSW is the best for mathematical modelling. Sydney is the strongest university in Sydney for the humanities but UNSW has the edge with sciences (not that Sydney is bad on science). Sydney is a great university and it is mine so I am biased.
The webpage for the university is

U of Sydney isn't a hard university to get into. I don't about how there classes and system works. I do know you can live on campus there and it's very close to public transport. I go to University of Western Sydney. It's not difficult to get into either and there are alot of international students. I live on campus here. Google some of the uni websites and check it out.
