I think Herbal teas do a lot of good for your body. Different teas do different things, like peppermint is real good for your digestion, and helps reduce the formation of intestinal gas I drink it after every meal. Ginger tea is good for circulation, it also helps to thin mucus , reduce fevers and relieve coughs I grate some ginger root into my ginger tea and add honey. It also helps with heartburn by absorbing acid in the tummy, and it calms the nerves. The steam also helps with colds and clearing your head. Ginger root in tea is very good for nausea. Chamomile tea is good for sleep and calming you down and aids menstrual cramps. It relaxes the muscles in the stomach and intestinal walls . Teas like sleepy time and Good night have a herbal mixture like Valerian, hops, skullcap, and passionflower that promotes sleep without the morning drowsiness and side effects you get from sleeping pills.
