Society kills are dreams
whatever you dream to be or do they always find a way to tell you no
"that wont work, thats stupid, what will u do if it doesnt wrk out,"

"Society" can only "kill your dreams" if you allow it.

Nobody ever fulfilled a dream by listening to the critics and people who said it couldn't be done - they did it anyway. Get the song by Martina McBride, "Do It Anyway". Seeing the way the world is does not make it different, trying to make it better changes it. Obviously enough people have followed that philosophy to get us where we are today - and out of the trees and caves.

i agree. part of "society" is the social norm. any new idea or thought, dream per se, is against the social norm. if you come up with a new one you are considered odd, even insane. i mean, how many years ago were people executed for thinking the world was round?

Well, yes and no.
Part of society may try to kill our dreams by thinking that way, but it's really up to you whether you believe it or not. If you give up because they told you you can't, then it's your fault.

Absolutely agree!!!They spoiled many of my dreams when I was younger but they'll not anymore.When you grow up and think for yourself, in a free way, then you can't let society destroy your dreams, if you respect yourself!!

When has "society" ever discouraged you from following your dream. Maybe your parents, a friend , a teacher , but sure not society .

~ I disagree with that statement,,,,I dont think it is society per say,,,,I think that each individual must decide for them selves which road to success they want to take,,,if we expect everything to be handed to us, then sure blame society,,,,,If I chose to work hard,,,it may be a long road to success,,but in the end I know that I earned it,,and deserve it,,,and its my dream that I made come true.......
