Depends on how well insulated the building is. Since it's new construction and there has been such a big push for energy use reduction, you're probably going to be very well insulated. With gas prices as they are currently, you can expect to pay about $200/ month for your energy bill for that size house during the winter months

It depends on how good the heat seals are on the windows, on how new the furnace is, on how many cold days are during the winter when the furnace would be running, and how well the house is insulated.
Easiest way is to just start asking people on the street---ask if they own their own home, if they heat with gas, say you're moving to the area but don't know how much the heating bill is going to cost you. It's only going to be an approx. amount they can tell you, but it'll at least give you a start.

There is such a huge variation that it depends on where you live the gas company and how well the house is insulated.
Some small towns in Oklahoma someone in town has a gas well and lets the people tap into it for a small fee.
We pay $10. per month for all the gas we want in and almost all gas house. Of about that size.
My sister in California for the about the same size house pays around $300. per month. And it never really gets cold there. So you may have to ask your neighbors.

It depends on the condition of the house--does it leak heat? and the cost of gas in your area.

That pretty much depends on where you live. Every utility company charges their own rates. And those rates can vary substantially depending on geographic location.
