Make some new friends. Sometimes hanging around the same people will eventually bore you because you've hung around them so long that you know them very well and probanly can predict what they will talk about. Boring. We as people like the exciting, new and unpredictable. You still like them you just need someone new. Find a new male pal and hangout with him sometimes. But don't let go of old friends because you get some new ones.

Do something out of the ordinary with them, to get you out of the drag. Something that doesn't require one-on-one contact, such as going to the movies or to an amusement park. If you had a really good time, then you can use that as a different way of seeing your friends for the next week. Of course, it's possible that you continue to see their flaws even if you're doing something special.

Take some space. Don't drop your friends like bricks of course, but just don't meet up as often. If there are some people that you are vaguely acquainted with, try to get to know them better instead. Make sure you don't ignore your old friends though! Alternation will help you take your focus off of their flaws and put it on the novelty of a brand new friendship.

And lastly, remember that even though your friends are flawed, you aren't perfect either. There are probably some things your friends are bugged by as well.

People change and grow apart so to expect friendships to be "forever" may not be realistic. Heck even families don't always remain close and interactive.

If you are bored with your friends and not depressed from life's situation, how about join some club or church or bowling league and expand your scope of friendships. Then you have more people to socialize with so when you are with those "old" friends it is less often and more enjoyable.
