Are you admitting that liberals are envious of people who have had everything handed to them on a silver platter, have never worked a day in their lives, inherit all their money from mommy and daddy, yet control the economic aspects of the lives of the people who have to work?

Any rational person would be 'envious' of that and seek to change it.

The definition of liberalism in the US is a very weird one.

This comes from Wikipedia: "liberalism emphasizes individual rights and equality of opportunity. Different forms of liberalism may propose very different policies, but they are generally united by their support for a number of principles, including extensive freedom of thought and speech, limitations on the power of governments, the rule of law, the free exchange of ideas, a market or mixed economy, and a transparent system of government."

How can you disagree with it?

How would it be class envy when liberals tend to be higher-educated professionally employed individuals, whereas conservatives tend to be beer-guzzling trailer dwellers who follow the herd like mindless bleating sheep?

Not me.

I would say conservatism is,though.

What do I base this on?
The fact that the majority of conservatives I have known are low income, often welfare recipients, whose main goal on life is to win the lottery so they can live like movie stars.

And we all know movie stars are a bunch of liberals....

No I don't think it can be reduced to just one thing. It is rather a state of mind obtained in the education system most likely. It is rather complex i would say.

Since liberals have better incomes and educations than conservatives, on average, obviously not.
