How would you defend it when people crap on it?

What it means to be a wrestling fan is a lot different than to be a fan of anything else. You deal with people who call it fake and it's usually people who never watch it but our outside looking in. Everyone has dealt with it those people that say it's fake but just can't look past that part.

So it's fake I'm suppose to stop watching all together; a lot of other things are fake too might as well stop watching that too right? I understand the part about it being scripted and all but I've dealt with some people that all together think it's fake and they could do what they do in the ring but better. Just disregard the sacrifice and passion these wrestlers make week in and week out to entertain us THE FANS.

They sacrifice a lot and put it all on the line when they step into that squared circle. It's take a lot of hard work to make it into this business and to go through what they go through all the time. They're putting there bodies on the line to entertain us to keep our minds away from the troubles we may be having. Constantly on the road that's a grind within itself and you miss those precious moments like spending time with your family, those reunions, birth of your child, missing your child grow up and so on. It's tough it's not for everybody it takes a special individual to do what they do.

There's always the chance of ending your life when you step into that ring. Your life is in someone else's hands and you trust that person not to **** it up. You're getting throw off cages, hit by chairs, landing on tables, landing on your head it's crazy stuff. To say you can go in there and do it is ridiculous in itself.

All in all it takes a big sacrifice and risk to be a wrestling fan when you always got people who are ignorant and bashing it. At one point I stay cleared from telling people about my fan aware with wrestling because of what people would think. I let what others thought effect me but I realized who cares what others think not everyone is going to like what you like and enjoy it so **** them. Some people don't get it and maybe never will but you can't worry about them and do you. You just have to stick your chest out and proudly say, "I Love Pro Wrestling, and I'm not afraid to admit it!"

Defend wrestling? It's just an entertainment medium like Roller Derby or Beach Volley Ball. There is nothing to defend. Take it or leave it. Whether it competes with figure skating or the Queensland's rules of boxing is another matter. But when it gets down to it, who cares?

I hate it when some people make fun of sports that are not football or basketball. Just remind people of the long hours of training and skill it takes for those sports. I personally believe that wrestling is more of a sport than football because it is constant contact and harder to catch up if you fall behind in points. There is also more risk of injury in wrestling than in other sports

Pro wrestling is athletic entertainment. Has good guys and bad guys and many find it fun to watch.

Some people watch soap operas. These are scripted and not real but people are still entertained by them.

On the bad side, it is loaded with violence and attracts young spectators.

I would say that wrestling is the greatest sport ever. Fake or not the wrestlers are one of the hardest working entertainers ever. Wrestling is about endurance and strength. It takes real guts to do it. If they don't like it they don't need to watch it.

right it somewhat is the cope with Wrestling. i like it, so if its pretend it fairly is high-quality. I say look what massive difference does that make, as lengthy as WWE or TNA do no longer say its authentic i do no longer see a concern.

It is difficult to defend, and probably pointless as well.

People either love it or hate it, and no one is going to change their minds.
