Umm do you breath? Do you sleep? Yes, they cry. Crying is the only way babies know how to communicate until they learn to speak. they cry to say they are wet, hot, cold, gassy, uncomfy etc. No reason to upset with them, they are just talking the only way they know how.

Of course babies cry - it is there only form of communication from birth - its an alert system something is wrong...
