Ok, I am going to the library and I need to find a book on witchcraft. Preferably one that has simple spells and gives information on the different levels of the craft.

Please give any titles you know of. Thanks!!

Thank you Terry, I have already learned that bit of information. What I was looking for was a way to extend my knowledge on all aspects of my belief.
What I stated in my question is what I was least informed of.

I have a mentor in mind, and I plan to learn all I can to his disgression.
He had told me about growing in power and something about my aura growing, and using more advanced forms of magic. That is what I am looking for.
I wanted to learn all I could before getting completely into it.

The craft is not all spells. Also many books named Witchcraft are written by Christians to denigrate the crafts. Books from a library that has any of the crafts below would be a begining in "Witchcraft."
A mentor should guide you into the areas of full Magick.

Dowsing
Midwifery
Healer
Bone setter
Herbalist
Maker of potions
Candle maker
Animal caller
Scientists
Teachers of philosophy
Psychic
Empath
Maker of poultices
Librarians
Finder of Ley Lines

All of those within the above crafts have been called witches by Christianity and many executed for practicing their craft. There is neither white nor black in all these crafts.

In this day of Neo reconstitutions the title Witch has incurred honor from the actions of many who use it as their own.

Terry

Having a will that is free is utterly futile unless you have freedom of action.

you will be very lucky to find anything at the library. books on the occult or craft or new age get stolen with alarming regularity. Scott Cunningham is the best to read. Raven Grimassi is good, too. start with those. if you can't find anything at the library, go to a big book store and read theirs. Blessed Be.

Creative Visualization by Ophiel is a good starting place for beginners. He covers most sides including the downside of doing things without understanding what you're doing.

The reading list below can act as a source for you. Most of the titles can be found in your local library. If they don't have them they can borrow them from another library.

One of my personal favorites is Scott Cunninham's :WIcca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner". It will tell you everything you're looking for.
