I was just wondering, as I am sure it has at-least 3, but the internet seems sure it is 2.

I would say brill-i-ance, therefore making it three. There could be confusion here due to accent. I am from the north of England but someone from 'darn sarf' may pronounce it 'bril-yance'.

it depends how you say it:
1) it can either be 2 brilli-ance
2) or 3 brill-i-ance

i personally think its 3
