if tires are NOT directional then just go side to side, but not my preferred method.
if tires ARE directional, dismount and remount all 4, my preferred, but i do work at a dealership so its just a few more minutes of work and no extra $.

Under no circumstances should you put 350Z wheels on a Maxima.

As for tire rotations on vehicles with staggered tire and/or wheel sizes, the only way to do it is to cross-rotate from side to side. You can not rotate front to back. Says so in your owners manual. Of course, be sure your vehicle is not equipped with tires that have a directional tread pattern. These can not be rotated from side-to-side. 350Z's come from the factory with Bridgestone Potenza RE050 tires which do not have a directional tread and thus can be cross-rotated.

Wouldn't recommend it...changing the offest can cause premature failure of suspension components like balljoints and you may have clearance issues with the body or inner wheel well or tierods especially when turning. Wheel diameter may not be that critical as long as the tire height and width is not more than the original tire size but offset and wheel width are very important.
