I have a great neighbourhood! It will be hard to move.....

I have a friend who has 2 kids and we let our kids play together sometimes. Her husband builds hot rods and motorcylces.
I have a family across the street who has a 13 year old daughter that sometimes "dog sits" for me if we go out of town.
The guy who lives right next door is a bit of a hermit, or maybe just a work-a-holic because I hardly ever see him and he does his yard work in the dark.
There is a sexual predator that lives 2 houses down. eeek.
Oh, and there is this family that is really annoying. I call them the "treat people" because they walk the neighborhood nightly and they bring treats for all the dogs in the neighborhood. I am so annoyed because I try to teach my dog proper obidience, but when he sees them he runs off and doesn't listen to my commands, and they don't make him sit for his treat, so he gets a treat just for being bad. Errrr. Stupid "treat people".

I haven't a clue. We've been there 7 years now and I don't know any of them. I wave and what not when I see them outside but we don't mingle. The only person I have contact with around there is my brother and his family. They live one road over from me. Is that bad?
