There are theories that they did exist. One theory on the fact that there hasn't been any remains found, is that when the dragon died, their blood would turn into acid and eventually disintigrate the bones, so nothing would be found.
Some believe they were hunted to extinction during the dark times.
I, believe that they did exist. But, I think the remains are burried deep in the ocean, under all that sand.

there is not any easily actual evidence to help the actuality of no count number if or no longer Dragon's existed at one factor or yet another. even although, for the duration of international Mythology the belief / image of the Dragon comes up many situations. In countless places international. those historical communites did no longer talk with one yet another for the duration of those situations and yet, the Dragon continues to be universally pointed out. as for the dinosaur element... im no longer too particular approximately that. because of the fact there are soo many categories of Dinosaurs which have been pointed out. even although, some have proposed the thought that according to risk the dragon become an evolutionary predecessor to a dinosaur or a series of dinosaurs. we are able to't confirm. because of the fact as much as now, there is not any concrete evidence to even help the actuality that dragons easily existed. besides the indisputable fact that they have got been depicted in merely approximately each and every custom...

They may very well have existed due to the evidence that every culture and religion has something that resembles a dragon, but were hunted out by man. I still hope that some may have survived.

Perhaps there were extremely small populations of dinosaur-like animals around during early man, and the lore was carried down, and generation by generation little things were added/changed. If you've read Beowulf, which is the oldest surviving text in existence, some scientist surmise that it could be accumulated stories of Neanderthals battle with Homo Sapiens in ancient Scandanavia.

yes.
well when you ask a question like I say why wouldn't they exist?
now there was a big lizard that lived a long time ago(almost like a kenodo dragon but bigger.) but after the dinosaurs that was said to be in Australia. this lizard killed allot of early people but in a movie on animal "LOST into the past' or something like that it said that "we" used fire to kill them and set fire to the bush. now other tribes might have had lizards ruining or maby have killed people wile trying to escape the fire and some who saw that linked the fire with the animal.

IF THEY EXISTED
Now why might they not exist? they would have lived a long time ago and were killed by the KT event. but the water dragon would have lived.
http://animal.discovery.com/convergence/...
now they could have moved on land as said in the site and humans would haved not liked that much. there would have been fight and nobody lived to tell the story so dragons went into myth and legend. sad. but the water dragon could be living at the bottom of the ocean and we have just not found them, there fossils could been lost to Earth's platal movements, or we just have not found them. saddly the fossle found on that show was not real but there were fossils like that that were so that is one of the factors pointing to dragons. and like said the stories were mixed up but dragons still could have lived maby like the priestoric dragon only four limbs.
keep this all in mind and if you want to talk about e-mail me.
so having said all that yes I believe dragons once lived, but they would not still be alive today.
one more thing...komodo dragons are monitor lizerds now they may resimble dragons and that could be one of the stories that evalved into dragons but konodo dragons are MONITOR LIZERDS
One populer thery is that they were dinisours, well thats good but think could dinisours be dragons and one more thing maby a dragon like the chines one exsisted and stories about it flying came around so other put wings on them. or maby a dragon lived in between dinisours and birds? the hard thing about dragons is that theres so much that leads to them exsisting and not exsisting. the silk road was a rout that stories along with goods were pased and may have been misplaced.
sorry spell check is not working for me wtf

Human civilisations throughout history have been digging up dinosaur bones. The hundreds of dragon-myths around the world probably originated with these.
The ancient Greeks--who were wonderful record-keepers--had records of "stone dragons," like the Dragon of Pitane which was said to have been turned to stone by the gods, and the earth-shaking Neades of Samos who were found in the rocks. Clearly these were both dinosaur fossils.
Other more fragmentary dinosaur bones they sometimes interpreted as belonging to "giant earth-born men." Earth-born giants are another phenomena common to many cultures.
The famous Griffin as well -- the eagle-beaked lion of the Russian steppe -- some think is based on fossils of Ceratopia dinosaurs, which were quite common in that region.

Their always the knight in shining armour and the wizard to. Wonder that clues in the actual a.d. or b.c. years they could of been circulating.
Their is proof of Castles that always seemed to be categorized with dragrons. Plus the crystals invovled.
Dinosuars existed. Kinda lizard like creatures. Bones are found throuhout the world.

I've had a theory. In Genesis, after the fruit was eaten, their god cursed Adam with having to work hard to grow crops, cursed Eve with painful childbirth and cursed the serpent with now having to crawl on its belly for all time. IF the serpent was ALREADY crawling on its belly (like modern snakes) that would not have been much of a curse. SO---serpents must have at least had legs. And what is a dragon, but a legged and winged serpent. Interesting??
