Hi there, if you take a balanced diet (with vege, meat, fish, carbs, cereal) you are getting most of the necessary vitamins and irons from your food. However, there is no harm in taking a multivitamin. I would not recommend any particular brand because different people react differently to multivitamins. But what ever it is, do not take more than the RDA (Recommended Daily Allowances), which you can see from the packaging. What you need is to boost up your immune system, so vitamin C is very crucial (you can get enough from your 5-a-day fruit and vege and also from multivitamin). Another option is cod liver oil which is commonly given to boost immune system.

Some of the best kinds of multiple vitamins are those that are food based. I personally know of 2 or 3 brands that you can purchase at a good health food store. They usually cost a little bit more, but you really do get what you pay for. One of the main benefits of a food based vitamin is that because the nutrients are bound with food, you can get much better absorption. As an added bonus, you usually can take them anytime, even if you haven't eaten recently, which you wouldn't want to do with most other multis(the b-vitamins can make you nauseous). I have a really sensitive digestive system & have never had a problem with them. You might want to consider one esp. for women, to make sure you get the right levels of iron etc. Hope that helps!

The best is the natural E7. Seven Essentials. It is whole food that the body absorbs. It contains more than 40 servings of vegetables in ONE scoop.

A multivitamin pill could be a preparation supposed to be a dietary supplement with vitamins, dietary minerals, and alternative organic process parts. Such preparations are a unit out there within the variety of tablets, capsules, pastilles, powders, liquids, and inject able formulations. Multivitamin pill supplements are a unit unremarkably provided together with dietary minerals.
