It is perfectly normal for a woman to be very close to her family and to discuss things with them. Just watch what you discuss. You don't want anything too personal to come out. You are in a marriage not just dating anymore. Make sure your time is split between your family and husband. Make sure he is included.

TOTALLY NORMAL! If he doesnt understand the relationship you and your family have then he needs to try to open his mind to new cultures! Dont let his thoughts change what you and your sisters have.

It's not a 'culture' thing it's a 'women' thing. We share our thoughts and worries with our sisters and our best friends. There is nothing I would not tell my best friend and her the same. I don't have a sister but I do share a lot with my mother and my daughter.

I would have to say it all depends on what you are discussing with your sisters.
Some people get offended when their spouse is talking smack about them behind their backs, especially to the people that are going to be the most judge mental towards them------in laws!
So you need to establish boundaries with your spouse and family members and not discuss things that would make your spouse uncomfortable especially when in the presence of your family members.

One should not discuss personal details of ones marriage with anyone else. I think you should spend the time you do with your sisters with your husband instead
