Commish,
I enjoyed your objective response; however, as the betting man you are a "better" bet is on the table. The score you provided may make sense to the logic as you present it - but your bias is Keller. The "third time is charm" as you put is another bias and is emotionally based.

Being a DAD is the best job there is, bar every other title a person can have or earn.

FYI - Once the game "starts" with kick-off I will take a tally of who answered and scores provided. I will then post who the last person is and NOT accept any answers beyond THAT person and advise you ALL of this with an update. Additionally, if two people on the winning team have the same score I will then use the criteria of who came closest with the score on the losing team. If that leads to a tie then I will have to choose the person who chose the score first.

YOU HAVE UNTIL KICK OFF TIME TO CHANGE YOUR SCORES. AFTER I TAKE MY TALLY AND YOU CHANGE YOUR SCORE DURING THE GAME YOU WILL BE OMITTED FROM CONSIDERATION.

Hey! I want to make this a weekly thing and keep it fun and FAIR for all!

Best of luck to all of you!

Well, looks like "I won" ha ha. Truth be told it comes down to Terry C and PsyDuck702. Both had "38" for USC; however, the tie breaker is the score for the losing team. PsyDuck702 gave Nebraska 13; while Terry C gave "The Big Red" 21. So, Terry C wins this week.

I will be back to do this again next week, likely incorporating more Univiersities. (I would have liked to have included some SEC, ACC, Big East, MAC, and other PAC 10 games. Earlier in the week I discussed the Big 10 with Michigan and Notre Dame.) Until then - you all be safe.

The Huskers have been quietly rebuilding in Lincoln for a few years now and the finished product is on display this season behind former Arizona State star Sam Keller.

Keller is familiar with better USC defenses than this one, as he does have a pair of starts against the Trojans.

The first time he came off the bench in a backup roll, but the second time he led his team to an 18 point half time lead over the Trojans before falling apart in the 2nd half.

Third time is a charm here in front of this raucous crowd and backed by the best Cornhusker team since their National Championship run.

It doesn't help USC that they come in here off a bye week with the only action this season being an unimpressive outing against Idaho.

I'll call the final score Nebraska 24, USC 23.

I think the difference will be 7 points for most of the game until one team makes a mistake. I think USC wins, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Nebraska win by 3-7 points. I'm gonna say:

USC: 28
Nebraska: 31

USC 35 NEBRASKA 22. I think Marlin lucky wont do that good with the power USC has on defense and USC's wide reicevers will dominate.

ATS means Against The Spread. In other words, it is how a team performs against the point spread, regardless of whether they actually win or lose the game.
Also,
USC will win by a field goal, 27-24
