It said in the paper today that a Polish newspaper had printed on how to get benefits, houses etc over in Britain and said how easy it is. Are all other countries going to get hold of this and then start coming over too. Who thinks we should take a page out of the Australian book and start clamping down before we become a complete laughing stock around the entire world?

The benefits system is not becoming a laughing stock it is a laughing stock. From an immigrants point of view this is the best country in the whole world. You come here you get a four bedroom house a shed load of money to send back to your eight children that don't actually live here( you pretend they do) and then sit on your fat **** in one of them cafes they all seem to like so much whilst puffing on one of them enormous pipes. The English then all go to work and have about three jobs apiece just to keep up with the massive tax bill to keep them all. Its only fair if your an immigrant. If I had the money I would leave this lawless sinking ship in a second.

TOO LATE !!! It has been happening for so-o-o many years already and ,unfortunately, our government has done, and is doing ,it to us. The problem remains that many AMERICANS don't know how to use the benefits but most from other countries do.They have groupes here that tell them how to do it.Our government entitles them to benefits that we,unfortunately, are not entitled to.Anyone who comes here from elsewhere can get free healthcare, for instance, something that most of us have to pay for or do without, unless we qualify for welfare. The fact that WE WORK TO PAY for the very care THEY GIVE TO OTHERS does not matter. This country is right where our selfish politicians want it, with Americans working so hard to keep their heads above water that they no longer fight for their rights. These politicians forget that they work for us ,not the other way around. The" illustrious "occupant of our White House knows what we want and always wanted and clearly he doesn't care because he always does the opposite. We are already the laughing stock of the world. The USA,the richest country on earth can't offer the same care to it's citizens as some of the poorest because of graft.Mr. Bush proposes to tell other countries how to be free. Perhaps he should try it himself,by example. The large corporations, the insurance industry, the pharmaceutical companies and the rich tell everyone down the line what they can and can't have or do. A clerk in the offices of the insurance companies tell the physicians what a patient needs and gets and how they can or can't treat their patients. The rest of the world wants to know why the people here are afraid of the government instead of the other way around.WHY ARE THEY?Clearly, I am older than you and so grateful because I remember America when it truly WAS a FREE COUNTRY.Our representatives DID represent us or they were gone. They did what THE PEOPLE wanted! I hope someday WE THE PEOPLE will take back our country. It is up to us!

If you look on the internet in respect of social security benefits, you will find you can do the same in Poland. We are part of the EEA and as such peoples of all the countries involved are entitled to live and work within the community as a whole.
As for the benefit system, and Britain as a whole, becoming a laughing stock, you are way too late. That happened years ago my love.

I was very surprised to learn that Poles can claim Family Allowance even if their children are not in this country, sounds very odd to me. The benefits system should be restricted to those who have contributed towards it as per an insurance policy for example.

The poles get on the next bus to Poland with the money they earn, would you not if the pound can buy you six times more than your own currency

What they earn benefits the Polish economy not that of the UK

(for those seeming to have a little trouble with this, £10 in the UK = £60 in Polish currency and vice versa)

THIS QUESTION WAS POSTED BY THE BNP
If ANYBODY wants to come here, live within our boundaries of law taste and decency, pay national insurance and tax then I'm all for it.

The only folk keeping our lovely white british unemployed on the dole are themsleves. Tesco & Asda have loadsof jobs for folk who are willing to take them.

If the BNP want to test this then they should abolish council housing for the unemployed, see who complains, the employed poles or the scummite whites who think the St. Georges Cross owes them the right to attack others.

the number of languages everything is in

the only language you can not get is PLAIN ENGLISH
the English is so difficult to understand
we as English people can not claim anything as we do not understand and get no help to claim
even what we are entitled too we can not get
yet aliens immigrants have interpreters translations specialist ETC ETC to ensure they get everything
from free fully fitted houses to cars TVs fridges you name it they get it

we get told to
piss off

i took a document to my local DSS last Wednesday I asked for it to be photocopied and a receipt given as received
i was told to go away and put it in the post to arrive via the royal mail

basically as said to piss off

the other question i like to ask is

what is the difference between 20 cigarettes and 20 immigrants
