a question about monkey grass?

i live in north florida and i want to plant monkey grass. when will it be the best time to plant it?

Anytime. If there is one plant that doesn't care then it is Monkey Grass. Just water it occasionally.

Monkey grass or mondo grass as some call it is an all weather plant. So long as you water it well to start withh, and give it time to become established, then any time of year is fine.
