If it's fresh red blood, it could be coming from hemorroids or from inside the intestines. You could try using some suppositories for the first, or taking antiinflammatory for the second. But if it doesn't stop, you should see a doctor.

It could be serious and then again it might be nothing to worry about too. I had the same thing happen to me about a month ago and it turned out that I had a hemmorhoid that was getting aggitated by bowel movements. Hemmorhoids are very common in people over 50 and nothing really to be concerned about. I'd suggest that you do both an external and internal self-examination, feeling for "lumps" that shouldn't be there. You could also have an intestinal polyp which could only be diagnosed through a colonoscopy (test).

If you don't find any lumps, continue to monitor your condition and if it doesn't go away within a week, get into a doctor as blood in the stool is one of the signs of cancer.

In simple terms, because all these people make it complicated... it means your constipated. That happens sometimes. When you pooped, it probably hurt a little. That's because your constipated. In simple terms, it means your poop is dry, therefore it's hard to go # 2. For help with that, you could eat some raison bran. Also ask your parents to go to the pharmacy and get you stool softner. That will help too. Don't be embarresed about this problem. It's common.

If you mean a few drops of blood when you wipe, and it only happens if you are constipated, then I think it's okay, but not otherwise.
