reject a girl who's too smart, sexy and happy. no way. some guys assume they have no chance with a girl like that so they don't even try....they may even hide the fact that they are interested...but if "met half way" they won't reject her. Once dating it's easy to understand why a guy gets jealous. They know other guys see the same qualities and would want to be with a girl who's smart and sexy. Jealousy is okay if it doesn't turn a guy into an ***. It's a natural feeling like lust or anger. Not pretty emotions but they make us human. But we can't just act on those nasty emotions. I get jelous. It may even cause an argument. But in the end....I know I need to get over it.

It's probably got nothing to do with whether she's sexy, and they certainly don't get scared off by happy women. The main reason a man will reject a woman is because he doesn't like her, or he doesn't think she is the one he would want a relationship with.

Hey, I think that no matter what, if a man is doing what he thinks no one else can for that woman (which means: the little things, things that most men might feel is insignificant in a relationship) he shouldn't have anything to worry about. I try not to make a big deal out of things like: How handsome he is. I think women want a guy more when they see him taking GOOD care of ONE woman than whoring around.

Because they feel threaten. They want to be the superior one and once you show them that you can be better they get Territorial. Oh and by the way you have to remember most men are born that way. lol

1st I don't think there is any basis for a conjecture that most men are jealous. 2nd if someone is too much of something it's simply too much as you said? Mostly it's you're perspective not others reality.

some guys are just not comfortable being in a relationship,and get very jealous. i think all us guys get jealous, but you haveto remember that most guys are jealous because they care about their girl. but i know where your coming from :)

As hard as it might seem to believe, a lot of men have insecurities. if they see how 'perfect' you are, they are reminded of how imperfect they see themselves. it might scare them into thinking that you will see that, and leave them or something. they don't want to be left behind.
