Elite Style 60 Tropical Kit?

How many fish does the Elite Style 60 Tropical Kit house? Also what fish do you recommend? I want some colourful ones and just a mix. Thanks xx

you have a 16us gallon tank on your hands

I don't know what you would like to go with, there are so many options

I assume it came with a heater, so it would be perfect for tropicals


here are some setups you can try out:
1 male betta
3 male platies (there are many colors and varieties out there)
3-5 cory cats, like pepper cory's (bottom dwellers)
6 neon tetras (schooling fish)
6 rasboras (schooling fish)


3 male platies (that way you don't have to worry about fry)
6 zebra danios
6 long fin danios
6 neon tetras
6 rasboras
3-5 cory cats


3 male guppy's
3 male baloon mollies
3 male platies
6 rasboras
5 blue danios
3-5 cory's

Also keep your temperatures around 76-82 degrees
leave the light on for 10-12 hours during the day, and turn it off for 12-14 hours at nights (a timer is helpful)
do partial waterchanges of 25% weekly with a gravel siphon
feed your fish twice a day, whatever they will eat in under 5 min, and net the rest out

Get some Guppies - Very colourfull and breed like mad! They are perfect starter fish and very easy to care for. If you start off with 2 males and 4 females, you will soon find yourself with a tank packed full of guppies. Get about 2-3 females to every males. I am not sure how many litres or what the size of your tank is but I wouldn't get too many guppies as they never stop breeding. Zebra Danios would also be very good fish to keep - they are hardy and easy to look after. Neon tetras are also a very common starter fish. Maybe get a few algae eaters aswell to keep the tank a little bit cleaner. Good luck
