It's a scam! If the Plaza Hotel (no hotel in Ottawa that goes by that name.) emailed you a job offer from a free email account (they have been using Canada.com but change every once and awhile) then just ignore it as Spam. Their scheme is to offer you a non existent job then get you to pay some immigration fees. Canada doesn't recruit immigrants for basic hotel labour jobs (yet) We recruit doctors and engineers maybe.

it fairly is a scam and direct mail. Toss it into your direct mail folder or delete it. Do a seek on Yahoo solutions for the 20 or so different questions like this with reference to the lodge interest can provide. the two that often arise are the Omni and the Plaza in diverse diverse cities.
