He would, but it won't happen. i could just see Eddie moving Nathan Buckley and Mick out of the way so he could speak about how great "his" Pies are.
But there will hopefully a big problem for Collingwood.

I think Eddie is a little more subtle than some of you guys seem to think. As for the Pies getting to the final - If they go hard early against Geelong they might be ok but having had the break I think the Cats could run away with it. If they get a 20 point lead by 1/4 time the Pies are in for an embarrassing day.

Tough match upcoming, but I like their chance if they get past Geelong - the Cats have just been tough this year. If he wants to make the speech when they win, more power to him. Let's just get there first.

Geelong will poleaxe Collingwood.
Game effectivley over at the15 minute mark of the 2nd quarter.
North V Port might be closer but I'd expect Port to get up by 25 - 30 points.

Eddie will be up on the dais full stop. Does he care what the circumstances are if there's a camera around. I wouldn't be surprised to see him in a Cats jumper if it gets him publicity!
