first buy the new part 2nd follow the upper radiator hose to the engine look at the engine where the upper hose hooks on to it will be rite there it will look like the new part you just bought

Most engine coolant temp sensors are in the radiator, along with the fan temp switch, you would have to check a repair manual for the exact location or trace the wiring from your radiator.

Look up the part on http://www.autozone.com for your model car and it will give you the location as well as part number and cost.
