Usually I just stick to the sticky stuff. when we first got our puppy though, I slipped on her piddle and broke my foot. That was awful.

No. Sticky stuff will make you stick to the floor and make you stumble as you lose momentum.
It is spills of liquid that make the floor more slippery. Water will do it, and milk . Cooking oil or grease is the worst.
This is why most professional kitchens have special surfaces. And soles of professional cooks also have special treads. It comes with the job and the territory.

Not anything sticky but watery. My kids spilled some Kool-Aid and I didn't see it....BAM, hit the floor before I knew what happened, landing squarely on the knee I had twisted a few weeks before. Must have laid there for a good fifteen minutes before my then husand found me and helped me up. I was hurting. Ouch.

no because its sticky, so therefore my feet get a lil' stuck.

No but my sister was chasing me once and i was running with socks on the wood floor made a sharp turn and fell down really hard
