I auditioned and maybe 30 other people did. Have a British accent...school play set in England. I really must be bad. 20 spots in play. I can't do anything right at all.

don't feel down! sometimes people don't get parts in the play because of their height. sometimes they need people to be tall, sometimes it would be better if they're short. next time there is a play audition, go in there with your head held high! good luck!

Honey, all it means is that you weren't right for this play. It doesn't mean you suck.

If you're really interested in acting, talk to the teacher and see what you can do differently and what you can work on so you can be included in the next play. Meanwhile, volunteer to work behind the scenes (lighting? scenery? sound?) so you can continue to learn about the process.

Try to remember that in 50 years getting into this play isn't going to be as important. That's how I try to guage things- I always ask "will this really impact my life when I look back in 50 years?". Getting a tattoo: yes. Missing out on a play: probably not.

Also, I thought I'd tell you that I've read a few acting celebrities who have said that they didn't get into plays when they were in school, but now they make millions acting! So maybe it's just not your time, huh?

U probably do suck.
Gee, sorry. Ok, let me get real here. There were 30 other people or more... the fact that others were probably better suited for the roles, doesnt necessarily mean u suck.

Dont sulk over it, there's so much more u can do... the school is a big place and so's the world.

And i bet there will be other school plays.

So smile.

No, don't feel that way!! Your talents obviously lie elsewhere. Perhaps you are good at art, or athletics, or tennis or some other sport. Don't be so hard on yourself. Imagine if you were your own best friend (lol) Would you then be so harsh? I doubt it! Pick yourself up, dust yourself off and start all over again!! Believe in yourself. You are unique. You are you and nobody else can do what you do best and if you think positively I am sure you can come up with a list of things you ARE good at.

You don't suck!!! Don't feel so bad about it! Sometimes you get the play, sometimes you don't. In the meantime, start practicing for another upcoming audition. Then, when the time comes to audition, you'll shine!!!

:o)

maybe it was a bad day. Maybe you aren't good at being an actor. Find another thing to do in the play to be involved. I like to sing...I get threaten with death every time I open my mouth to sing..You can do other things well. see if backstage help is needed. Maybe you are good there.

you arn't a failure and don't give up on your dream either try out for the next one if there were only 20 parts in the play then you did really well if you really want to be involved ask the director about helping with sets or helping backstage Don't give up!!!!!!!!!!

I dont know, maybe they're jealous of your accent or something. I really don't know why they wouldn't see how your accent can make the play more realistic, but that's messed up.

Don't feel like that! Just because you didn't make it, doesn't mean you're not talented. Maybe you just need to work on your acting skills. Don't have a negative attitude, and maybe you should join a theater club or drama club for practice.
