Definitely! They have a chance...but the test is this week. San Fran's Patrick Willis is going to shut down Steven Jackson the same way Carolina did...he just looks that good...9 solo tackles in his first ever game...and they weren't just because the other team ran at him...Willis ran at them. Bulger will have to win this game but Jackson will get 100 total yards and a TD if they use him like normal...just tough luck to start the season. I can see the Rams getting 9-10 wins still this season if the corners step it up...I give them a break because it was Steve Smith that was owning them last week...

Good Luck.

I think the 49ers are going to win the NFC West this year. They played pretty good last week. As for the Rams, well, the chances are slim.

We'll know more after Sunday. If the Rams can't beat the Niners at home, forget about winning the west.
The way they are losing players to injuries and drug suspensions, It is going to be awful tough anyway.
I too am a proud Rams fan, but the way things are going, I am hoping for a wild card spot right now!

Definitely! The Seahawks no longer can win this division by a landslide. The Rams, 49ers, and possibley Cardinals have improved their teams and that means 1st is open game. Dont worry about 1 loss. If a single loss meant you wouldn't win the division, well 16 teams would be crying right now. If St. Louis can get Steven Jackson going they should do great and have a chance at the title.

The NFC West sucks really bad, so yes, it's conceivable the Rams could get lucky and win. But I wouldn't bet my paycheck on it. @volleyballchick: when did the Saint's get sent to the NFC west?

Do I think they will win the NFC West?

No.

The Saints are sitting there waiting. . . And Seattle is a tough customer as well. They may make their presence known, but they aren't going to win the NFC West.
