The thing about politics in the states and other countries is its almost like a religion and people believe in their party and follow it blindly sometimes. Their bible is their media of choice and whatever they hear else where is just false propaganda.

APPARENTLY THE MAJORITY OF PEOPLE DID EXACTLY THAT.
After all...look who his opponents were. Al (the sky is falling)Gore??? and then John ( traitor ) Kerry!
Twenty years from now when Iraq is stable and democratic, Syria is a trading partner with the EU and Iran is building a pipeline for oil to Israel....the world will have a different opinion of George W.

Of course! It was easy too. Just look at his competition.
Al "Chicken Little" Boring
John "the Waffle" Kerry
The real dilemma is, although I have been disappointed in Bush's 2nd term, if I could go back in time I would still vote for him because the alternative is STILL worse.

I didn't get hooked up on the net until November 1999. I voted for Ralph Nader.
Farenheit 9/11 further made me suspicious of amBush ... and I voted for Ralph Nader again in the '04 election.
I am not one of the brainless sheeple. I guess that makes me dangerous.

Assuming that they researched both Bush and Kerry, the answer would be "nearly all of them".
