What the heck is the matter with Mr. Streisand, (James Brolin)? Is this the Liberal mentality? I thought we happily celebrated birth, marriage and wonderful things. What is wrong with this picture?

Wow , you and I must watch/listen to the same shows !! I just saw that about an hour ago . The radio interviewer paused uncomfortably , stumbled , and then told him 'we don't say HAPPY 9/11' . Amazingly Brolin still didn't get it , laughed and said ' CELEBRATE ya know' . WTF ?
I must go now . Yes , I need some time to finish picking my jaw up off the floor !!

Liberals love when we are attacked, especially when a Republican is in office. I vaguely remember when we attacked Afghanistan that Susan Sarandon and others openly wished for our defeat shows where their true allegiance is.

He was doing a interview and he was told it was 9/11 and he said "well happy 9/11" with no clue as to what 9/11 was about. the interviewer Finlay got angry at his lack of care of the subject he finally said i think you would do better talking about your movie.

So he's an insensitive clod. There's nothing criminal about being an insensitive clod in our culture, we have the First Amendment that protects freedom of speech, and no one should criticize anything anyone says.
Unless it's Don Imus saying "nappy headed ho", or Jerry Lewis saying "******". That's just criminal.
But other than that, we're free to make light of the death of 3,000 people.

I heard the clip and I honestly don't think he was trying to insult. It was just a brain fart, like he didn't really think before he spoke. I don't think he meant to make fun of it or mock it, he just used the wrong choice of words.
I think he was sorta caught off guard and had to say something fast.
I'm not a democrat either. I'm not defending him because I am a hippy.
