The position I am applying for is one that my experience goes further back, I have been at my current job 10 years and am lookin to supplement my income,,,Do I go past 10 years to show experience? What do I put in the cover letter? Thanks

I agree, you should list any job experience that is relevant to the job you are applying for. As far as the cover letter goes, I just wanted to mention that I created my resume and cover letter on www.pongoresume.com and they do offer cover letter templates with sample text. That may help you out. Good Luck!

On your resume, go back as far as you have relevant experience. In the cover letter say something about "My xx years of experience make me an excellent candidate for the position...."
