I'm a 17 year old female student and have recently been doing some Microsoft Paint drawings with a mouse and turning them into videos showing how I made them. Most drawings I spend about an hour on, but recently I have done one in 7 minutes which can be seen here:

I got a 1 star rating from one person on Youtube and just want to know if it really is that bad, or if someone just really hates that kind of thing!
You can also see the rest of my videos on there which I spent longer on. All were drawn on MS Paint with a mouse.

Come on. I'm an artist and I've sold some of my work, so I know that a budding artist can be uncertain of their work even if it's really good. But something has to be telling you that it's pretty good despite anything people might say, or any lack of compliments you might receive.
My opinion, on their own they are above average. You have a good understanding of composition and structure. Considering the medium you did them in, Microsoft Paint using a mouse, then they are quite good.
Oh, and the song you chose for the video is a telling sign that you want to really make something of your talent and that you are aware that you are indeed talented. So concern yourself a little less on other people's approval. You've got the talent so just display it.

It isn't my favourite sort of art, but it is a better-than-decent picture. I'd guess that maybe the person marked it one star because it's not a very exciting video as videos go. (Though quite cool to see the picture develop).
They may have expected to see all the strokes occurring.
If you want higher ratings for your videos, maybe you could think of some way to make it a little more interesting for the viewer, rather than just having them say "Ooh, there's a picture"
But yeah, you have talent :) so don't worry about the one star

That's the best thing I've seen on the net since Tony vs Paul. I've seen someone doing recognisable caricatures with MS Paint but nothing like your stuff. You could have a career in art or illustration before you.

very cool, skull of the goat looks real good. and them pastel drawings are fantastic. I have drawn for over a quarter of a century and i know how hard and time consuming it is. and for someone just to give one star is like a kick in the stomach. but think like this. most likely some guy who got ditched by a girl for a guy who could paint. that will make you smile to think like that always remember to try different things. good to be good at doing cars but don't just stick to them. that quick landscape is real nice by the way.

good drawing and i like the tune you put with it, the only flaw was the car seats, perticulaly the drivers seat look slightly out of place, but good nethertheless, dont worrie about the you tube rating, it was probably given to you by someone who hasn't gotten any in a while.

It isn't the worst I have seen. There is room for improvement, but with practice the artist could do better.

It always amazes me how people do these drawings, so well done!
maybe those who give low ratings are either jealous or think you've faked it somehow.
