There is nothing to discuss.They had a life and were happy and unhappy about things as we are today, feeling in the same way.The core issues don't change drastically but peripherals and packaging keeps changing.

Their time is different from ours. But personally I would think their time was happier for there were less pollution, crimes and most of all was that literature is much better during then!

It was the same. They had their bad and good times and so do we. They had controversial opinions and so do we.
