I don't think Jewish people are trying to do anything....it's the way things are written in history books. It has nothing to do with the Jewis people.

I just would like to see history actually written in truth not in parts.

And it was an EQUAL amount of Christians that were killed not a few.

My family has a friend that is a family friend of 45 years and he has a PHD and a Masters in History. That was my first socrce and the American Red Cross has the information but they will not release the records that tell the number of people that were killed. Which I also find interesting.

They say their were 6 million people killed but that number has NEVER been proven and like I said before ONLY the RED cross knows the real numbers and they WILL NOT release them. And it was half of the 6 million that were jews and the other half were polish christians.

Christian persecution in the past & the present is often overlooked. The world would prefer that if we must be seen, we should not be heard from. Many don't like our message of repentance, even if it means eternal life. Christians were killed by Hitler, Sadaam, and others throughout history, yet little is spoken of it in the public arena! Even today Christians are being slaughtered in Laos, Vietnam, China and other places yet why doesn't that make the evening news?

The research I have done usually points to the figure of approximately 10 million people being killed in the Holocaust. So, if 6 million were Jews (which is also generally accepted by reputable historians--and by the German government), that leaves 4 million "others". The others included many Christians, no doubt.

The difference is that the Christians who were put to death were not put to death for BEING Christian! They were put to death for being homosexuals, Gypsies, handicapped, intellectuals, or Jewish sympathizers.

Hitler wasn't against ALL organized religion. He did create the German Lutheran Church to consolidate religious power and authority in Germany. Rather than being opposed to religion on spiritual or philosophical grounds, Hitler viewed religion as a rival for his control over the people of Germany, and thus moved to limit its power.

EDIT: If you don't want to accept the figures of the historians (most of whom compared pre and post-war census data to arrive at their figures), will you accept the words of Adolf Eichmann, a senior official with the SS (it was the SS that carried out the Holocaust)? Eichmann said that between 5 and 6 million Jews were killed. Why would he lie? He wanted to save his hide during the Nuremberg Trials. Don't you think he would have come up with a much lower figure (and an excuse--i.e., starvation) for the number of deaths?

I wouldn't say EQUAL amounts, remember, Hitler killed 6 million Jews, so to have killed 6 million Christians would have made him the murderer of 12 million right there, not counting anybody he considered a marxist, a gypsie, a homosexual, handicapped, or a rival. So I would have to assume that if he killed 6 million Christians, there'd be as many Christians as there are Jews looking back and remembering their loved ones, their own tales of survival, rendering it totally impossible that anyone just oops, FORGOT that it ever happened to them.

Hitler did kill other people, homosexuals, handicapped, but no one group was as targeted as the Jewish people. I don't know where you get the idea that there were and equal number of others killed and I don't even dispute that; however, I don't think that the Jewish people are trying to take anything away from those others.

Lighten up, please.

Yeah there might have been a few christians and other forms of life such as homosexuals and etc. but the jews were the most targeted. If you research it you will find that like 98% of the people killed or captured were Jews.

This is the type of question where I feel its up to the person asking the question to provide a source for their assertion, not for the answerer to refute it.

Provide a source for your dubious claim.
