I have just bought a Belkin PC-dvd to TV cable Kit - i have connected it all to pc and tv, but i still have normal tv shows on my tv.
1. Do i change the TV to AV mode? Is AV the correct mode?
2. Where on my pc do i find my graphic card details to change it to tv-out?
3. what else do i need to do???

no instructions manual- only how to plugg it all in. I now have it all done. plus i can see my desktop on the tv but how do i change it from black and white to color....

right click on a blank area on your desktop, select properties, click on the settings tab, hit the advanced button. what you see from there will differ depending on the video card you have, but what you are looking for will be found there.

Sounds like you have to change the tv input at the connection from the pc to 'S-Video' (not S-VHS).

Do this on the tv's menu, not the pcs, this does not sound at all like an output problem from the pc.

If it is a big flat screen tv you've got, only one of your scart ports will do s-video.

Anyway, does your tv not have vga port on it. Most modern tellies do, then all you need is a male-male svga lead. Pick these up at any pc shop.

Read The Friendly Manual (RTFM) for your Belkin Cable kit (or go to their website/FAQ) and follow the installation instructions and “How To's” to the letter.
