Of course!
I'm pregnant now and before I knew what I was having people would always ask me what I wanted to have... I said I didn't care then they would reply with "As long as it Healthy right?" I'd say NO I will love him or her no matter what!

Now if the PARENT is'nt excepting of the possible fact they ``THEY`` Mom & Dad either did'nt take proper Pre`cautions to try & make the possibility of >SOME< disabilities less !?!(etc)..Oh & keep in mind that NOBODY ON THIS PLANET-No`matter who they are has any degree of perfection!! So that does'nt have to mean that it's either of the parents fault !!; More`over It could be a problem at which`ever hospital.. if the birth takes place at one .. Since my husband and I are unable to have children, this question and the lyrics "Nobody Child" really touched my heart. Your child is your child- that's all there is to that! Love is unconditional.

This is not a stupid question. I know people who do not accept a disabled child and refuse to keep them.
Yes, I would accept and love a disabled child. It would still be my child to give all my love to.

a loving caring parent will accept any disability their child has.
the only one that doesn't and gives up their child are superficial and only worry about how others will perceive them for having a disabled child.

Of course, I would take any child. Each person is unique and special in their own way. No one should ever be left out or unaccepted.

I would accept them if they were blind or deaf, but if they mentally retarded I don't think I could. The other ones could learn, but having to take care of a human with the intelligence of a child for the rest of my life is just impossible.

Of course--just like I accepted my best friend who was
blind from birth with cancer. I just read the lyrics--it is so
sad.

yes i would... he/she is still a human being. To not love a child you created just because they were disabled would be quite ignorant.
