Giving up his paternal rights will not release him from his responsibility to pay for the support of the child, state does not allow such an easy avenue for a person to be free of their responsibility to pay for their child

only if the kids are adopted by some one will it release them, remarriage will not effect child support payments

I was able to terminate my ex's rights after we divorced, but only because he had already failed to send child support, and had not kept in contact with us by phone or mail. I think that he will be financially responsible until the wife remarries and her new husband wants to adopt the child, or until the child turns 18.

If they get a divorce, the father will still have to pay child support, and whether he has rights to see the child or not, well, that is for the parents to decide, whether they have to decide in court or not.

If you sign over your rights no you don't have to pay child support but you wouldn't be able to see your child without either legal or the other parents permission...

The wife/mother has to agree to allow him to give up parental rights. If she agrees then he would not have to support the child nor would he have any right to see it.

giving up rights=having NOTHING to do with his child.

no money, no visits.

if he wants to terminate his parental rights, he doesn't deserve to see his kid. there is no excuse for him. that's a horrible father.
