well if ur buying it at the store obvisouly its easy. but most girl jeans have a flare at the bottom. so if u hold them up you will see 1. there zipper is smaller because there low rise 2. it will go out for the thighs and in at the knee and then flare out. most guys jeans zippers are longer and the legs are straght up and down (not going for curves). you can always go by sizes. most guys that are no longer kids go by 30x30. while girsl go 5/6 or 1/2. but there are exceptions. skinny jeans. the ony way to tell is if the sitching is a giry color but besides that it looks the same. hope that helps :)

It would help to know the context of your question. If it's just to wear them, if you can't tell, I wouldn't worry about it, just wear them.

If it's to sell them, that's tough and I would specify you're not sure. Usually boys jeans are straighter legged (but not always), are cut fuller in the crotch area (but not always) and sometimes the fly faces the other way (but not always).

I find there are more differences between men's and women's jeans than there are between girl's and boy's jeans.

Boys zip on the right using their right hand and the flap is on the left, girls zip on the left using their left hand and the flap is on the right. Boys buttons on shirts are on the right and the holes on the left, girls buttons are on the left and the holes on the right.
