Theres Swatch watches, Guess watches, Timex watches.... I prefer Timex watches. I like them the best. Guess watches run out of watch-battery pretty quickly, and Swatches are just plain expensive.

As far as quartz analog watches there are only Japenese and Swiss movements. They both keep time the same. All that differs in the watches is the size of the movement. They are made by 3-4 companies only.
Digital watches teh same applies.
What you pay for is the case, the style, the name, and all the bells and whistles the watch has to offer. They all keep time the same.
There is no such thing as inexpensive mechanical watch that will last. The swis movements are the best and very expensive. these watches start at $500. Cheaper movements are not as accurate and Russian movements are the worst and break down usually after a short time.
So go to store and get a quartz or led in the style and price range that meets your purposes. They all keep time the same is all I can say.

hi one of the best brands for the value is invicta they make excellent watches. they are also very well known. there price range is any were from 50 to 20000 dollars so you know you are getting a great deal. i suggest going to shopnbc.com and getting it there because they have very good prices. they are also available in department stores and allot of jewelry stores. shopnbc also has some other nice watches.

TIMEX is one that has been around for a long time but since I don't wear watches that is the only one that I know of that has been around since I was a kid. I have magnetic personality syndrome so I cannot wear watches. I either stop them completely or they run backwards because of the magnetic force my body produces.

it doesn't really matter....
you could just go to the store and pick the cheapest nicest one you can find
what really matters is price
so make sure you check 4 that before you go to the store
