If Lloyd Carr loses again today against Notre Shame...errr, Notre Dame, do you think he could lose his job?
I'm not encouraging it, but it seems like a lot of people want Carr gone already and a loss to ND could get the higher ups to pull the plug.

Your thoughts?

Quiet Tiger,
look for Les Miles (LSU) or Jeff Tedford (Cal) to come into the "Big Blue". There are plenty of suggestions that one can infer that UM is already recruiting for their next Coach. The two I mention are merely two of a possible short list of front runners.

Win today or lose (no matter) Lloyd Carr is gone at the end of THIS season.

Best to you!

Well a loss today would add a lot more fuel to the fire to get rid of Carr. I think he will be fired at the end of this season and they will try to get Les Miles of LSU as their new coach. Carr has had a good career at Michigan but this loss to App State will put him out. The team speed of Michigan showed in both their two losses last year just as Ohio State showed as being too slow to keep up with Florida last year. Speed kills in football and Michigan does not have enough speed to beat teams like App State and Oregon. Luckily for Michigan, most of the teams in the Big 10 have very little speed either. It is hard to imagine this team won't lose at least two more games this season even though they play in a weak conference (with the exception of Ohio State and Wisconsin).

I don't want Lloyd Carr to go out on a bad note, so if he loses, I want him to come back and have a good season to leave on.
Carr is an awesome coach and I hate listening to pretend Michigan fans not support their team whatsoever.
But he won't lose today, the NFL alums are showing up at 1:45 to prevent that from happening and Michigan will blow em out.

Can we fire the crybaby sunshine fans instead?

Yes if he loses today by the end of the year he will be fired. There is only one thing he can do to keep his job this year. First not lose another game beat Ohio State and win their bowl game if he doesn't beat ohio state this year hes gone

Is Lloyd Carr on the field actually playing? No? Why not punish the entire team for their failures? It is a team sport, isn't it?

honestly Loyd should have got the hook a while ago how many loaded teams has he lead up to c-bus and just choked year after and mind you Loyd's teams didn't have any scholarships taken from them like the basketball team did when they fired Tommy A for loosing so what makes Carr any different!!!

I don't think he will.... today atleast.
If Michigan has a losing record at the end of the season, he's gone, but I think he'll stay untill that point.
