If i was old enough to be married, i wouldn't really care. But yea most men like boys to toss a football with them and all that stuff, but i don't really care. Other men will want a girl so that they can help clean and cook and they can just sit around. Those are the selfish kinds. I wouldn't care just because i don't want to look into the subject thinking what i am going to get out of it, but what my spouse/others may gain. Its almost impossible to choose if ur going to have a boy or girl unless u take expensive drugs. And i think it should be left to mother nature to choose boy/girl. Everything happens for a reason, you know?

Honestly, I have not known a man who cared all that much. I used to want to have a boy. (We have all girls.) To carry on a name? That isn't terribly important. To throw a ball around? That isn't my thing at all, though I am sure many others are very into that. The only thing is that men tend to dominate in families and my descendants may take more after the families that marry into my girls culturally and in similar ways.

For a a balance both but Girls are found to be more loving and caring towards their parents, even after they are married and settled with families of their own. Given a choice,I for one, would love to have a daughter any day.

We had 3 boys and my husband loves them all but years later we had a girl and he is so much more protective. I think he is pleased we have both sexes but is chuffed for me having a little girl as boys are for the men .

I wanted a girl 1st ended up with 2 daughters and I couldn't be happier. I got to experience what it's like growing up as a girl. I even learned to play Barbies!
