I know you gain some water weight/bloating which dissapears after your period. However, if I continue exercising, will I see results at the end of my period although I still feel fatter during the week?

Thanks

Yes, it just doesn't feel as dramatic because you've felt fat & bloated. The reason why some women don't see any results while on their period is the fatigue, chocolate cravings, and 'blah-ness' they experience. When I feel like that, it is REALLY hard to get up & workout.
Just take a form of energy supplement and making it to teh gym. Don't just go through the motions while you're there; have a tough workout and you'll see the results. It'll help you mood while you're on your period too.

Yes you can! as a matter of fact on your last few days of your cycle you actually do lose weight! It is only during the pms stage that you gain what is known to us as water weight. So relax, you can and will lose weight on your period, I am living proof, cause I did!

I would actually incorporate the running on days between the workouts, not necessarily after your workouts. I would run the day before your weight workout. You've got a pretty good pace (7:30 per mile) and I'd work on slowly building that up to 2 or 3 miles on your off days. On weight workout days I would jog on a treadmill, use the elliptical or the stationary bike before the workout too. For anywhere between 10 to 30 minutes. It makes more sense to do your running before the workout, not after it. It's a good warm up - if you're not killing yourself and you keep better form because your muscles aren't exhausted from the lifting.

matters how often you exercise and what your diet is.. if your exercising 3-4 times a week there is a chance that you can stop your period.. for a short time.. in general, if your exercising you will lose weight.. period or not.. but how you feel.. bloated and such.. wont change. try less salty and sweet foods.. more veggies and fiber
