Just wondering, i know its a bit stupid but can guinea pigs swim?

Yes, all animals can, it's a survival thing. It's only us that have lost our natural instinct for it.

They're not strong swimmers of course, but if they end up in water they have to be able to at least keep afloat and get back to the edge.

Hamsters, rats and mice can also swim. I had to bathe my hamster when he was losing his hair, he swam a bit in the sink.

Yes they can swim. Longhairs dont swim as well as the shorthairs as the weight of the coat pulls them down. We leave a large dish in the cage during the hot summer months so they can paddle in it & cool down.

Yes they can, but try not filling up the tub with to much water they do get scared and will try to jump out.
