My first friend here on YA was Hope. She answered a few of my questions, we started sending each other e-mails, and had a big surprise in the process! We discovered that we share the same name, the same age, the same wedding anniversary, and even our hubbies are strangely so much alike! She joked that we were probably married to the same guy! When she came to Egypt we met in person, and our daughters became friends too. We now speak on messenger since she left Egypt again. She is a sweetheart and a true friend, and I can't wait to see her again ISA. Love you Hope, Mwah!

As I said, Hope was my first friend here, as well as my first on line friend. I also just love Ranousha ilmarwoosha, Noha ilmagnoona and Nada il3asoola, Ruby om za3bolla, Red Wine, Ministry, and sweet adorable lovable missing you! This is in no particular order guys, I love you all. Mwah!

Hi Jab,
I love the history of EGYPT. I used to live at (near) the4 Cairo museum. The curator of the museum is now a movie star and appears on television every week here in the US.
I still keep in contact by e-mail, but he is a very busy man.
My first online friend, I met at Yahoo Answers.
I always have time for friends, they are very important to me.

My first friend on YA and on line is sweet Farah, it happened like she said above, and i thank Allah swt each day that we met and became such good friends.

What she forgot to say is that we r so alike that we finish each other sentences, i respect her and lover her even more now than when i first talked to her. She is such a great person. Mwaah Mwaah to u and yr precious little daughter.

Since then i have also become really good friends with Rana, the sweet playful sister of mine, Ruby, who is so coooooool and funny, Maro's mum, to me she is sweet and kind, and Red Wine, we talked once and it was hilarious.

I hope to remain friends with all of them and wish them all the best.

Wow it seems a long time ago,but like Kalooka my first contact was Mr. aka Ismaily.aka Nobody aka Youseff , there is one more aka but I can't remember it .
Are we still friends? Sure, I need my Egyptian bro' there to straighten me out and pull me back in to focus every so often when I take life and things too seriously.
That is when I need him there to make me laugh at myself as only he can do.
My first IM friend was Maro's Mum,that was also many moons ago and I still keep in contact with her, except the Yahoo Messenger on my laptop cuts us off all the time with its polite messages about formats(?)
Does anyone understand why that happens?
Now you have made me feel all sentimental and I am almost in tears.

I had one online friend I knoew when I was moving overseas.

She was very helpful and our families are still friends, but we don't meet any more because we live in a different town. and now we are moving again.

The other one was also an online contact and she introduced me to her finace. they were separated but, he is still my friend and we are regularly in contact.
