legally until the divorce is finished, and the court restores her maiden name, she cannot change it on her social security card, employment records, etc.

Once she has the court order restoring her to her former name, she can take that order to her employer, the social security office, bank, utility companies, and anything else that has her name on it, and have them legally change her name to her maiden name.

As for people around her, it will take some time to get used to her new name, but they will eventually get the hang of it. Make sure that she changes name tags, desk plates, stationary and anything else that has her name on it at work, and eventually, everyone will use that name.

Just correct them, and announcements out if necessary. Sooner or later they will get the message.

She needs to inform people what name they are to use when addressing her. If they fail to do so, she needs to ignore them until they get it right.
