There is a great book written by John Lott, called "More Guns Less Crime". He is or was a anti-gun Professor and was attempting to write a book about the evils of guns. What he found in his research was that, the more restrictive the gun laws on law abiding citizens the more crime by by criminals who KNOW their victims are unarmed.Washington DC has some of the strictest gun laws in the USA and has one the highest murder and violent crime rates in our country. You will not find high crime rates in the states that have conceal carry laws for law abiding citizens.

So car crime isn't as bad as gun crime? Someone that is murdered by a criminal driving a car is less dead than a criminal using a firearm?

Why not try to end all crime?
