Most of the time, it's pretty easy to save a picture, either by right-clicking on it on the screen, or by finding it via viewing the page source. But with flash pictures, the first never works, and the latter never seems to provide the necessary information. I'm far from being a geek, so if you can provide me with a method for doing this, please pretend you're explaining it to a second-grader. Seriously! Feel free to explain it in very simple terms, so that I can understand the procedure, and not screw it up. Thanks!!

To "ELfaGeek" -- Of the three responses I've received (within the first hour or so), your solution has worked the best for me. I did your suggested download, and then implemented it on the desired flash picture. It was a perfect capture. I then used Microsoft Photo Editor to fine-tune it the way I wanted it, before doing a final save. That software you pointed me to is phenomenal! THANK YOU!!

To "Mike" and "Electriclove18" -- Even though I haven't met with success with your methods as yet, I'm sure they'll work if I do them right, and I appreciate the help both of you have offered me as well. Thanks for your your helpful responses!

Any Screen Capture program, that can select a specific screen area, should do what you want.

I recommend MWSnap (Shift+Control+A), free from:

Capture, then Save As... JPG.

Press the magical Print Screen (PrntScrn) button located in the top right hand corner of your keyboard. Then open a graphics program like MS Paint and click Edit->Paste.

If it's in a flash movie, you have to time it just irght, but for static images print screen works. It'll tae a picture of the whole of our screen though, so be prepared to trim it down.

I really hope that helps, and if you need any more PC help, e-mail me at electriclove18 [at] yahoo [dot] com
