"Hot Murder"
Starting line: The full moon was shining brightly as midnight stroke on the grandfather's clock at the Johnson's house.

Oh come on. You would have to go a LONG way to prove to me that a woman kills her husband and doesn't know he isn't dead. How does he avoid dying? How does he avoid autopsy and a death certificate? How does he avoid burial? How does she get away with it? You would have an awfully hard time explaining all that and making it wash. You would have to do a heck of a lot of research. What method of murder can a man "survive"? How does a Medical Examiner's office work? A funeral parlor? If this woman kills her husband there is going to be some kind of a body and Medical Examiners just do not make all that many mistakes when it comes to corpses. In fact, they don't make any - not after an autopsy. You have a lot of forensics research to do as well as research on methods of murder. Right now, what you need is a plausible plot, not a title. People only come back from the dead on soap operas. You would get slammed by editors and publishers if your story couldn't answer these questions. And mystery readers are the world's toughest audience, I know that for a fact. If your plot has holes in it, or if they pick up the slightest error in your story, you will get letters!! You need to know your audience. Mystery readers are very precise readers who read searching for clues and things that are out of place. That is why they love mysteries. They would crucify a story like this. Pax-C

Cheater, The Comeback, um The Murder, it sounds like a good book. we might need more detail to figure out a title.

Maybe you should start writing before deciding on the title. but first you need to have an outline for your book, then you will know how to start.

"She Said I Do" ........there's a title. As for a beginning to your story, I'm sure you'll come up with something. You're a writer aren't you? Just avoid the cliches and plot traps you joked about. Luck to you!
