I see 2 answers here.....

1) all have at least one letter which is repeated

2) all have some weird symetry going on (although it is not perfect)


number 2 is hard to explain. but imagine a mirror placed over the second a of banana or the a of potato or the i of revive

ps i just saw my symetry explained above. remove the first letter and they are palindromes

They all have 5-7 letters and a letter in each of them has been doubled except for the word assess which has four s's but it still counts

Placing the first letter of each word at the end of the word and reading right to left gives you the same word

They all have two sets of letters that are repeated twice.

They are all words.

They all have capital letters.

None of them end with the same letter they begin with.

In all of the words listed, if you take the first letter.... place it at the end of the word..and then spell the word backwards..... it will be the same word. Is that a palindrome?
